Google goes further when you add Skills

Google is quite basic when you get it out of the box, but the really good thing about it is that you can add any number of skills that you might want, from connecting you gmail calendar, to Spotify, fun and games, BBC news or a radio station. Traffic reports. Audible and

Think of Skills like apps, these can be found on your Google App and soon as you add them to Google they are ready to use on your smart device.

What we found really useful

Google is constantly being developed, updated and having new skills added to its repertoire every single day. We found Google extremely useful in emergency cases, with our elderly father having diabetes.

His partner is able to use a service SOSMyFamily that contacts us and others at the same time without having to use a pHome (*so long as the home WiFi is up and running this works flawlessly).

The SOSMyFamily connected service calls and texts everyone ins emergency contacts list at the same time and allows us to respond. This is very useful when at times you are not able to reach or use a handset (in her case she is not able to understand his mobile pHome or understand how to unlock it, neither does she have a pHome of her own).

However this is not a replacement for calling the regular emergency services.
